Sworn Translations

Your documents need to speak Spanish. Legally.
When you’re submitting paperwork to Spanish authorities, whether for residency, marriage, work, or anything else, a regular translation won’t be enough. You need what’s called a traducción jurada, which is a sworn translation certified by a translator officially appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
We work with a carefully vetted network of sworn translators across multiple language pairs. Every translation carries the official stamp, signature, and certification that Spanish authorities require. No rejections at the window. No being told to come back with something else.
You send us your documents, we handle everything with the translator, and you get legally valid translations delivered to your inbox.

Your timeline begins from the moment payment clears. We assign the right translator for your language pair and document type, and keep you updated on progress.
Receive your translation
We send you digitally signed PDFs, ready to submit. If you need physical copies, just let us know, we do those too.

For example, if a Spanish document references an “empadronamiento,” they won’t just translate it as “registration” and leave you guessing. All prices include 21% IVA. No hidden fees. You’ll have a quote within a few hours
Standard Certificates – €85
This covers birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates, single-status certificates, NIE/TIE documents, and criminal background checks.
Professional Documents – from €95
This includes employment contracts, affidavits, and reference letters. We’ll give you a final quote based on the document length.
Academic Documents – €110 + €25/page
This covers degrees, diplomas, and academic transcripts. The base price is for the first page, and each additional page is €25.
Legal Documents – quote required
This includes divorce decrees, court rulings, notarial deeds, powers of attorney, and multi-page contracts. These vary too much to give a flat rate, but we’ll quote you within a couple of hours.

Language pairs
We cover sworn translations for English, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Arabic and more. Less common pairs like Turkish, Greek, or Finnish may require a bit more time, so just ask us.
“Do I need to get my document apostilled?”
If your document was issued outside Spain and you need it for Spanish authorities, the answer is usually yes. And here’s the part that trips people up: the apostille must happen before the translation, not after.
An apostille is an international certificate that verifies your document’s authenticity. It gets attached by authorities in the country where your document was originally issued. For UK documents, that’s the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. For US documents, it depends on whether it’s a federal document (Department of State) or state-issued (your state’s Secretary of State).
Once you have the apostille, we translate the document and the apostille together as one certified package. But we can’t get the apostille for you. That has to happen in the document’s origin country first.
